How do I copy from Internet Explorer onto the Office Clipboard?

I used to be able to copy items from web sites contacted through internet
explorer and then find them on my Office Clipboard. Now they do not appear.
What am I doing wrong.

Could be your temp cache is full, in Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options,
delete files.
