how do I copy Outlook contents (e'mails etc) from old PC to a ne.

I need an efficient way to transfer the contents of Outlook folders to a new
PC. Copying an archive file which covers several folders and sub-folders via
CD fails as the new Outlook says it is not a PST file or has not had certin
unknown settings preset.
