How do I copy .pdf or .doc files to a flash drive ?

I have about 6 gig of documents (both pdf and doc) that I need to transfer to
another computer--my flash drive only holds one gig at a time so I need to
transfer approx 1 gig at a time. How do I do this? Some copied earlier
using copy/paste but now I am getting messages that a particular
document/file cannot be copied--even if I deselect that document, it
highlights the one prior to that in line.

Are you deleting the original files from the flash drive before copying
another 1 gig?

Is it always the same file that it chokes on? If so, move all the rest of
the files over withotuj that one, then see if you can open it, close it and
copy it again. Certain types of temp file may also be protected by the
system and not available to be copied.

It's also possible that your flash drive has gone bad; that does happen
occasionally. Try it on another set of files from somewhere else in your
system.
