how do i correct a EULA error?

I just purchased a new Dell with Microsoft Office 2003, which does not
include Microsoft Works. I have loaded my Microsoft Works program from my
old computer, but it will not open. It gives me a EULA error. I input the
authenticatioin key code and it still won't work. How do I get this program
to open. I have a lot of old files in Works and I need this program.

You'll need to call Dell to get an answer to that. This is a Microsoft
Access database newsgroup and you are unlikely to get the best answer to a
Works question here. You are much more likely to find an answer in a group
devoted to your subject.

Depending on version of Works you may well have corrupted your install of
Office as Works likely contains Word also installed with Office.
Usually Works files can be opened by Office, particulary those using
Works/Word.
Works spreadsheet files can also be opened in Excel, part of Office.
You perhaps might be better advised to learn how to use Office rather than
using the 'inferior/basic' Works app.

Brandy,
Uninstall Works. Next download a Works to Word Convertor. Just check what
version Works file your using so you know which download to get. If MS
doesn't have one, you'll find one elsewhere on the Web. They are everywhere.
However, you need to know which version of Works the file is.
If your Works is an older version, it may not be compatible with your
present OS (specially if SP2 is on there).
