How do I correct"can't contact LDAP directory server" msg?

Using Outlook 2003. I get the above message each time I go to write an email
to one of my contacts. I obviously have done something but don't know what.
Does anyone know how I correct this ?

Barb do the following
Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories or address
books>Next. Select the LDAP service and click Remove.
