How do I create a booklet, 2 up on A4 (half A4 size each)

I am trying to create a half A4 size booklet that I can print 2 up on normal
A4 size paper. I want to creat it so that it prints the front and back pages
on top half of A4 and on bottom half of A4 and then print pages 2 and three
on reverse side, top and bottom. Then I can cut it in half after printing
both sides, thereby having two booklets from one A4 size page.
