How do I create a drop down list in a cell in Excel?

Hi,

I'm trying to format my Excel worksheet and I want to create a dropdown list
for users to select an option.

Example: In one field called "shoes", there are many different types. I
want the data entry person to be able to indicate that Miss Jane has chosen
"blue suede" shoes.

One quick play ..

Select the target cell (or col)
Click Data > Validation
Under Allow: choose List
Put in "Source:" box: blue suede, black suede, red suede
Click OK
