How do I create a meeting invitiation using html?

I want to use graphics and create a professional invitation. I tried pasting
them in the bottom, but it creates 1-3MB emails - even after lowering the
image resolution.

My outlook normal email format is html, why can't I create a meeting
invitation using html? Am I missing something?
