How do I create a new record in a subform using a macro?

I want to create a macro in a form (orders) that will put three new records
in a subform (order details) with default values. I don't know how to create
a new record in the subform using a macro. When I type Orders.[Order
Details].Form I get a message that the form isn't open. Thanks for any help
