How do I create a PowerPoint presentation?

J

Jaek

I purchased Office for Teachers and Students 3 weeks ago. PowerPoint is part
of the package. I installed as directed.
I can't find PowerPoint and have a PowerPoint assignment due in 2 days. I
find the PowerPoint viewer but I can't find PowerPoint. I even did
Start/search/PowerPoint and the result was it found no files.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Jaek,

First, deep breath. Not all of the Office bundles have the program
PowerPoint. I was under the impression that most of the Student and Teacher
versions of Office included the full PowerPoint program. Look at:
Where's PowerPoint?

Since you have an assignment due, and no time left to work with, I would
recommend downloading the trial for 2003 (link on the page I sent you to) if
you can't find the program on your hard drive. Oh ... better let the
breath out before you turn blue.

If you purchased Office 2003 (the latest version), there should be a file
POWERPNT.EXE somewhere in your programs folder. Try to find and start that.
Did you keep the retail package? You should find a notice there, whether
PowerPoint is included.

Best regards,
Ute

Thank you so much. I found PowerPoint because of y'all! Now I'm sure I can
get the assignment in on time. You are the best, the best, and the best.
