how do i create a progress line in microsoft project?

I want to have microsoft project show a double task line one planned & one
actual so i can compare the project plan to the actual.

Hi Doug,

If you have saved a baseline, the Tracking Gantt view already displays
baseline (planned) and actual data. You can modify views (including the
Tracking Gantt view) by changing colors, adding or removing text, and other
options through the Format > Bar Styles command.

Take a look at the Tracking Gantt view, and if that doesn't suit what you
need, let us know.
