How do I create a recurring appointment with custom dates?

I want to set up a series of appointments in Outlook 2007. I can see how to
set up a regular weekly, monthly, yearly recurrence, or how to specify, say,
the third Monday of each month - but I need to pick specific dates for this
series of appointments as they don't fit a pattern. Is there a way to do this
in Outlook? I know that Lotus has this function but I'd be grateful if
someone could point me the right way to do it in Outlook.
