How do I create a sort allowing me to view birthdays in Outlook?

I'd like to be able to create a sort in Outlook (I have Outlook 2000 SR-1)
for birthdays so that I can view them in calendar order- (i.e. January 28
comes before April 1) and disregarding the year they were born?
Can you help me figure out how to do this?
