how do I create a templet?

I do not wish to use a templet already set up in excel. I need to create my
own templet. How do I do this, step by step?

To provide step by step instructions, we need to know which version of Excel
you have.

However, creating templates is straightforward. Simply save the file as a
template (*.xlt or *.xltx in 2007)
