How do I create a web page that anyone can add a name to a list?

I am trying to create a Prayer Request List on my church website. Is there
any way to create it where when someone visits the site and wants to add a
name to the prayer request list they can type it in and it will be added?
Without it going to a email address for someone to check and then add to the
list.

without any custom code work you may want to look into using the FrontPage
forms and maybe framing in the file that the form saves it's data to.
alternatively you could look into the FrontPage "discussion web".

thanks for the help mate

see if your host has a guest book enabled on your website package. this is
one way that will give you what you want.

if you need anymore info just ask.

However, if you don't have some method of filtering responses before they go live,
I'll bet you'll see some words there that you won't like to see.

I was hoping for the best since it's a church prayer list.

As others suggested, spammers, prankters and hackeers don't care about
prayers.

To get around this, you can require login to use this area so that only
your church members or authorized users can access it. Or you can accept
submissions form anyone, but have them reviewed for possible editing or
deleting by a designated person before displaying them on the web site.
Depending on the capabilities of your site, you can write submissions to
file or to a database

Do you want submissions displayed on the site, written to a file for
somone to review privatley, both?

To get more specific suggestions, list motor info about the capabilities
of your web site?
