how do i create a yearly attendance register/record

i need to create a daily attendance register for my employees, as most are
not requesting annual leave and most are pulling sickies all the time.. so i
need to hav a stricter attendance register

hope fully you can help with examples or instructions

You don't tell whether there are 2 or 2000 employees, if all work computers,
who will register attendance, ... But see if you can use John Walkenbach's
timesheet
