How do i create an autonumber in Word 2003

Can someone assist me in creating an autonumber in word 2003. I am
trying to make a document where when i print it out, the numbers
increment automatically (if possible).

A little more detail on what you're trying to do - what do you mean?

Are looking for something like " copy 1 of 14", automatic page numbering,
numbered lists?

MVP I am going to try that in a few, thanks.

Val what i want the function to do is basically whenever i print out a
document (just one document) i want the auto number to increment for
the amount of print outs that i select print. Not really a page number
just something where i can put the code in where ever i want on the
document and it will sequentially increment from 001 to whatever.
