how do I create an URL to my database

I need to add a hypertext link to a webpage that will open my secured
database stored on a server on my local LAN.
I don't understand how to setup the URL.

I'm sure it needs to include the path to the app, the path to the file and
the path to the secured.mdb file as well all within the same URL.

The good thing is that the file is stored on the local LAN so it can still
include //server/folder/file in most of the link.

Anyway, anyone know how to do this?
