a document so that I only need to go in and reenter in the blanks. Such as Name, Date, and so on.

You have a couple of options. One is to save the document as a template
(.dot) and then you can open new documents based on that template. Another
is to create a form and protect it so that data can only be entered in the
fields you choose.
