How do I create "Stop Light" icons to report SPI/CPI (variances) .

I saw a Project screen shot that contained "Green" "Yellow" and "Red" stop
lights to indicate information on Variance analysis in MS Project. I am
uanable to find this feature in MS Project 2003 Standard.

Is there a method to display such "stop lights" depending on variance
thresholds, such as an SPI or CPI below 0.90 would show a yellow light, etc.?

Jim --

You need to create a custom field, probably a Number field, and set up the
field to display the stoplights according to your criteria. Click Tools -
Customize - Fields and study the options in this dialog. Hope this helps.

Additional Information -- I have learned that the chart I am referring to
(Looks like Project, with stop lights) is actually a product called Kinessa
(spelling??). It is a Web Based Product to which Project Files can be
imported and manipulated for display.

Does anyone have a reference link for me or other information????

Jim --

It wouldn't be Kintana instead of Kinessa, would it? If so, try them at
www.kintana.com. Hope this helps.
