How do I cut out just my picture from a group photo?

I want to "cut" my portion of a picture from a group photo taken. Which
application is the best suited for this purpose? And how do I do it?

Any software that contains "Crop" in the image handling section can be
used. Best? That is such a simple process it isn't worth comparing
software over. How? Depend on which software you use, typically click
the Crop command and drag the borders, or set the borders and click
crop. See "Crop" in Help for more details.
