How do I default my font/size type so it always same when I open?

My default font/type size was changed on my Word Software from Arial Bold 12
to GIGI 24. Every time I open my Word file the new default GIGI 24 appears
and I have to change it to what I normally use. How do I set my font and
size to what I customarily use when I open my Word Software?

Set the font and size you want in the Format > Font dialog, and click
the Default button in the lower left corner of the dialog.
