Hi, kazandian. In Word, click on Tools | Options | File Locations. Note the
folder designated for "User Templates". That's where your NORMAL.DOT
template is located (it is a hidden file in newer versions of Word). Open
the normal.dot template, and click on Format | Columns | One | Apply to:
Whole document | OK. Type one or two characters (doesn't matter what), and
then delete what you just typed... this is to make Word think you changed the
normal.dot template. Save the normal.dot template and close it.
