How do I delete an email that is stuck in the outbox?

File->Work Offline. Completely close and then reopen Outlook. Delete the
mail from the outbox. File->Uncheck "work offline." Completely close and
then reopen Outlook.

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.
