How do I delete draft e-mails

I have draft e-mails and when I highlight and delete them they reload. When I open them and click discard they soon reappear in the drafts folder.

Open a draft message you never sent
In the folder pane, click the Drafts folder, then double-click the message. If you want to delete a draft, right-click a message in the draft folder and select Delete.
