how do i delete the text box border after creating a watermark

I have created a watermark in a document using wordart but I cannot get rid
of the text box border around it

Why is the WordArt in a text box? It certainly doesn't need to be. But you
can remove a text box border using Format | Text Box | Lines and Colors: No
Line.
