How do I delete unwanted fonts from the drop down menu?

The drop down menu in Publisher 2007 has a number of fonts with a @ as the
first character. Examples are @Batang, @Dotum, @Fang Song, etc. These
appear to be Korean fonts. I thought I could easily delete them by going to
the Control Panel and then the Font applet, and delete them. But, they are
not listed. How do I remove them. I am using Vista Premium.
