How do I disable formatting/querying when printing Access Report .

I am using Access 2000 and have a report that uses sub-reports within it.
I have checked and have no events called for the On Print. I also optimized
all queries, reports, macros, and modules.

The actual report comes up quickly in print preview but when I print to
PDF/Postscript/ or even to hardcopy it goes into a formatting and querying
routine which causes the report to print very very slow. The querying and
formatting routine also occurs when I try to advance from one page to another
in print preview.

How do I disable the formatting and querying routine when printing? What
would be causing this to kick-off? How do I get around the slowness in
printing?
