How do I disable the use of the F1 Key in Microsoft Word so that I can use
the F1 Key with my Point Of Sale Program? Please help me ASAP as every time I
press F1 on my keyboard when I am using my POS Program it opens up Microsoft
Word.

When you say F1 opens up Microsoft Word when you are using the Point of Sale
program, do you mean that it starts Word from scratch?

It sounds like your Point of Sale program may have a Help system that is
contained in a Word document and that F1 in the Point of Sale program is the
Help key (as it is in many Windows applications.

If that is the case, it is not so much case of disabling the use of the F1
key in Microsoft Word as it is a case of disabling the use of the F1 key in
the POS program.

Hi
Tools > Customize > Keyboard
select Window and Help from the left list and select Help from the right
list. The field "Current Keys" will show F1. Select it and then click
Remove.
