How do I display the pointer position

When making drawings, it is useful to see the coordinates (X, Y) of the
position of the pointer (mouse). This can be activated, but I don't know how.

There is no way to do that normally (that I know of !), however,
depending on what you are trying to do ..
you could temporarily put Visio into drawing mode by using one of the
icons on the drawing toolbar, Pencil Tool for instance. But anything
you then do with the mouse starts drawing a line.
