How do I do keyword search on email attachments

I need to be able to search massive amounts of word documents attached to
emails for keywords. The search feature in Outlook 2003 does not appear to
have a feature that searches attachments.

Try the Lookout search engine plugin at : http://www.lookoutsoft.com/Lookout/

It must have impressed Microsoft enough to buy them out. What it does is
index all of your emails to provide faster search times. In the options when
searching, you can select 'Attachment File Name' field and let it go. I have
used it for about 2 months with Outlook 2003 and it works really well.
