PLEASE write your question in this BIG WHITE SPACE - that's what it's here
for.

Presumably you have Office 2003 installed elsewhere? So how did you install
it then?

And the term is INSTALL, not "download". To Download means to transfer data
from a remote computer or server, not from a local source such as a CD or
DVD.

You don't "download" it from anywhere. You install it from the media you
used when it was originally installed.

Then you would need an image that the CD contained. What happened to the CD?

Thanks for your reply. I transferred the program from my old PC with a crossover cable and PC Mover.

The files transferred but when I try to open Office it tells me to run set
up again.
That file is obviously missing or does not work with vista.

Unfortunately; the original disk and other software I have got burned in an
office fire over two years ago.

Thanks again

Thanks; unfortunately most of my original software was burned at an office fire over two years ago.

Adobe sent me a new pro disk but ; I guess I did not contact Microsoft to
ask for a replacement.

Thanks again

You can't transfer applications like that. Do you have the receipt?
Did you claim on your insurance for a new copy?
