How do I easily get my Office 2003 back from 2007 trial status?

I tried the Office 2007 trial version and found it not to be much
different/better than the 2003 version I have. How do I revert back to
Office 2003 without having to uninstall/reinstall? If there is no other way,
why (other than marketing blackmail) is this the way it is to be? I
particularly didn't care for Outlook 2007, too many decisions made for me,
like .GIFs not being animated. Thanks john Mount

Isn't there some setting to change that?

I'm not running Office 2007 so I can't answer your question but when I
had to go back to Office 2003 (compatibility issues with work) I
uninstalled Office 2007 and installed Office 2003.

AFAIK, this is always necessary when moving from a newer to an earlier
program and isn't unique to Microsoft or to Office.

No there is no setting to change that as it was removed for security purposes.
