How do I edit the hyperlink, so that it removes the directory?

I have created a training course and I have linked PPT files. I want to edit
the hyperlink, to remove the directory, as I want to copy the files to CD and
run them from CD. How do I edit the hyperlinks to make the files run in any
directory? Or is there an alternative way of fixing this problem?
