how do I edit this animation?

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Hi,

I got a file from a client, and they have what appears to be a timeline animation. I can't seem to figure out how to edit it. Does anyone know what this is?

The Mac version of PPT doesn't include the Timeline feature.
