How do I eliminate the blank line *before* an outlook signature

I know how to eliminate double spacing in signature lines, but Outlook seems
to handle Standard and Reply signatures differently. Even using identically
formatted text, the Standard signature always has an extra blank line before
my signature text.

Is there a way to eliminate this extra blank line?
