How do I eliminate the margins beside a fullscreen PPT slide?

Does anyone know how to display a PowerPoint slide in true full-screen mode
without the one-inch margins that appear on the sides of the slide? I'm
using PowerPoint 2003.

Most likely you have a wide-screen computer monitor and it is setup to
display presentations in its true 4x3 aspect ratio. You can disable this
feature in the advanced graphics card settings, but then it stretches the
presentation to fit the dimensions of your monitor...
