how do i email in access using the info from a field as the addres

I wont to be able to send emails to people using the email address from a
field in my Access data base. I can use the mailto: function but how do i get
the field info into the address part or is there another function to do this.

and using the mailto protocol, try:

Dim strMail As String
strMail = "#MailTo:" & Me.txtEmail & "#"
Application.FollowHyperlink HyperlinkPart(strMail, acAddress)
