How do I enable friend to view my pictures (jpg) on cd on his TV

I have now made 3 dvd's and cannot see my pictuires on my TV and neither can,
my friend. He gets a message that it has to be on my computer to enable
viewing.
I want to be able to see the pictures on my TV and enable my friend also to
see them on his tv. I am using LOGIK DVD+RW discs and have now made 3
copies. None of them can be viewed on the TV or even my friends PC.
I have been advised to !finalise the pictures!. I regret that I cannot find
a solution or step by step instructions to finalise the DVD whatever that
means. Can anybody help please. The pictures have been downloaded onto ROXIO
and appear also on my Picture package software.

Many DVD players can read JPG files stored on a CD-R, but the firmware
might not recognize images stored on a writable DVD unless the DVD is
burned with software that generates a "slide show" in the same format
(minus regional DRM encryption) retail video and movie disks use. Note
that there may be non-DRM differences in different countries due to the
various TV broadcast formats.

Note that if images are stored at the standard video resolution many DVD
players are able to display, a LOT of pictures can be stored on a CD-R.
Since the size of the individual files varies depending on the amount of
image detail and compression level there isn't a fixed quantity to
quote. That resolution is smaller than the ones most late model cameras
produce. Check the software that is included with many cameras for
functions that allow you to store a COPY of the images resized to a
lower resolution. As well as increasing the quantity of images on a
CD-R, the lower resolution may allow the DVD player to load the images
faster as well.
