How do I enter the children of a person and Birthdates

There is not a field for children (there is one for spouse) but what about
trying this:
Create a New Contact
In the Company Field type the family's last name or "The Smiths"
Create the parent contact
Click on details and put in the bday
While still in the contact, click ACTION > Create new contact from same
company - all of the info that would be common would carry over to the new
contact yet the personal info (bday) will be blank.

Hope that is a decent work around.

You could use the "create new contact from same company" (Actions menu)
to create family contacts
