How do I export an amount field into a fixed field w/o formatting

It keeps left justifying, leaving off the sign and not 0 filling. I need to
send the file to a mainframe for processing and am using either the export or
TransferText processes.

Create a query that returns the values. Use the Format() function to get it
looking like you want. Then use something like CStr() to convert it to a
string representation. If I recall, that way when you export it keeps the
formatting.

IIRC, the Format() function converts numbers to text, so the CStr()
shouldn't be neccessary.
