How do I export Distribution Lists to folder using Office XP Pro

I want to export to a CD distribution lists I have created in Outlook using
Windows XP Professional Office. I have exported my address book but cannot
find out how to export the distribution lists too. When exporting the address
book, it leaves the distribution lists behind.

I urgently need to create a back up of all the addresses I have (approx
1700). Your hellp will be much appreciated.

You cannot export DLs, one of the shortcomings of DLs. You can, however,
copy the DLs to a separate contact folder in a new .pst and copy that .pst
file and reuse it.

Hi Milly,

Thanks for your advice can you explain please how I would export my DL's as
I can find no way of doing so at the moment. If I highlight a particular DL
and go to "File" there is no facility to "Export - Import" as there is when
exporting the whole Contact List ??
