how do I export just one category of addresses?

I have tried creating a new pst. contacts folder...when I copy contacts into
this forlder it creates entries with those contacts using all of the
categories in each contact. (so each contact appears in several lists - just
like in my main contact folder) I only want ONE category so I can export
this ONE category to an excel file to send it off to a mailing service to
mail to just one category in my contact list. Everone in my contact list
belongs to several categories.

Why don't you use the By Category view of Contacts to select only the
Contacts in one category and copy them into a PST?
