How do I export weekday recurrances to Excel w/o weekends?

When I use recurrance on weekdays only the calendar only shows those entries
on the weekdays, but when exporting the calendar to Excel the recurrances are
somehow added to the weekends. Is there a patch for this or is the feature
another piece of useless half functional crap?
