how do i find post script printer drivers

xp is supposed to have imagesetter included, i have checked and it supports
my printer but it will not save as postscript

Open the printers folder in the control panel, file, add printer, next, next,
next, scroll down to Generic, should be a generic color PS for commercial
printer there.
Adobe also offers PS drivers on their web site
