How do I find the product ID on my word 2000 disk.

I have microsoft word 2000 on a works suite 2000 disk. When I try to register
word using the product ID number on the works disk I get a wrong ID message.
where do I find the correct ID number or how do I register word upon the
prompt?

You may have a pirated copy. Or you are entering one or
more of the 25 digits incorrectly.

You may have a terminology problem.

With your Works Suite you may have received a Product Key {25
alpha/numerical code} that you use to install the product.

The Product ID is a different set of digits. If you have installed Word
2000, open Word and go to Help, About. The About window will show the
Product ID.

Go to your word toolbar & select "Help" then "About" it tells you your
product id #.
