Calculate the volume in cubic feet (LxWxD) and then divide by 27

Here's a much more difficult way:
=CONVERT(CONVERT(CONVERT(100*30*1,"ft","yd"),"ft","yd"),"ft","yd")
=CONVERT(CONVERT(CONVERT(100*30*1,"ft","yd"),"ft","yd"),"ft","yd")
