how do I fix error message after installing office 2003 outlook

I installed office 2003. when I launch outlook, I get an error message that
outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close.

How do I fix that?

Create a new mail profile. Control Panel->Mail Icon->Profiles->New - do not
copy your previous profile, it is corrupt. Configure it to use your default
..pst file.
