Hi.
One needs to read these files with the application that was used to create
the files. If one opens the file in a text editor for example, one will see
the text representation of the data in the file, which may be binary in
nature. Your data is probably fine. If these are *.MDB, *.MDA, or *.MDE
files, then don't try to save these files in a text editor. It will corrupt
them, and database recovery services won't be able to recover the data in
the files.
