How do I fix Office 2003 Document Scanning when SP3 is added?

I have Office Pro,2003 I use document scanning to fax,email and file
documents. Since I installed SP3 I get an error message that says it has
encountered a problem and has to close. Is thare a patch to fix this, or do I
need to remove SP3?
